Jared Arader


Jared Arader works in the Government and External Relations Department at UJA-Federation of New York.  He has his B.A. in Journalism from Purchase College and earned a J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law.  After a stint as a civil litigator, Jared began his advocacy and government relations career with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, where he worked on issues including Israel advocacy, immigration, reproductive health and the rights of LGBT persons abroad.  He currently works on secondary education policy, and hopes to bring his Resetting the Table training and wisdom to his networks in the LGBT community.  Jared grew up in Brewster, NY and lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
