Ilana Sidorsky

Ilana Sidorsky167Ilana Sidorsky is the Israel and Hesed Educator at The Abraham Joshua Heschel High School in New York City, combining her passion for teaching Israel and engaging students in community service. Previously, she supported young adult grants at UJA-Federation of New York, directed teen leadership for HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir, and worked as lead staff at Camp Ramah in Nyack and Genesis/BIMA. Ilana graduated Brandeis University phi beta kappa and summa cum laude in Near Eastern & Judaic Studies and Sociology. She earned her Masters in Experiential Jewish Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary, and received a certificate in Israel Education through Kesher Hadash, a pilot program for Israel Educators based in Jerusalem. She recently completed a fellowship through the iCenter for Israel Education. Ilana is thrilled to learn facilitation skills within Resetting the Table’s diverse cohort and work together towards breaking silos in the Jewish community.
