Cassie Chesley is currently a Goldman Bridge Fellow at ACCESS DC, American Jewish Committee’s young professional program. In her work at ACCESS DC, Cassie facilitates relationship-building and programming among Jewish young professionals, interfaith and intergroup partners, and the young diplomatic corps. Before starting the fellowship, she worked as an international development consultant and as the Executive Assistant to Rabbi Marc Gopin at the Center for World Religions, Diplomacy, and Conflict Resolution. Cassie worked on interfaith and intercultural issues while serving as the Media and Communications Director for the Syrian Emergency Task Force where she developed programming to engage faith groups, university students, and the American public on the humanitarian crisis in Syria. Additionally, she gained international development experience while implementing women’s civil society workshops in Southern Turkey. Cassie is excited to learn and hone facilitation techniques and build bridges across lines of difference within the Jewish community and beyond.
